It's hard to find stories about actual people in Tibet - it would be nice to hear some of their comments, before drawing any conclusions. Based on what I've been able to gather from media reports, it's commendable what the Chinese government is trying to do there.

Tibet is one of the poorest provinces in China, so it is great that the central government is funding projects that will help improve people's living standards there. I think it's all for the best.

It's hard to know the real situation in Tibet. I'm sure the lives of ordinary Tibetans are much more balanced than what we are led to believe by both Chinese and Western propaganda. At least I hope so.
